Cribl License
Hi everyone
I have different locations which need to have separate cribl stream installed on each location .. Which means standalone deployment. In this case how the license will be deployed .. Will it have separate enterprise license applied to each Cribl instance ?

Using multiple standalone Cribl Leaders would require multiple licenses, but have you checked out Universal Subscription? It allows for a consumption model license to be shared across the Cloud and hybrid (on-premise) Leaders. It does require the on-premise Leaders to connect to a Cloud instance for billing, but no stream data is transferred to the cloud.
Typically in environments where I need multiple worker groups across environments I prefer to simply use a Cloud Leader which provides centralized management. If separate Leaders are required, the Universal Subscription model makes licensing so much easier, and has all the benefits of the consumption licensing model.

Thanks Dan for the response .. If I have leader in cloud , I only need to setup worker nodes on premise and
They will be marked as hybrid Workers and must be assigned to a different Worker Group than the Cribl-managed
default
GroupAll Worker Nodes’ hosts must allow outbound communication to the Cribl.Cloud Leader’s port 4200 at
https://main-<Organization-name>.cribl.cloud:4200
, to enable configuration and workload management by the Leader. On all Worker Nodes’ hosts, firewalls must allow outbound communication on port 443 to the Leader and to
https://cdn.cribl.io
. This port is also used to bootstrap hybrid Workers from the Leader.I hope this understanding is correct
